Why VAEL
The supplement industry sells noise. We made VAEL because we got tired of buying labels that didn't tell us anything.
Where this started
Reading the back of supplement bottles. Specifically: noticing that the magnesium product I was paying $35 for was magnesium oxide — the form your body absorbs at about 5%. Noticing that the "premium ashwagandha + adaptogen complex" had 200 mg of unstandardized root powder buried inside a 14-ingredient proprietary blend. Noticing that the "Brain & Focus Formula" with eight nootropics couldn't possibly contain a clinical dose of any of them — the math doesn't work.
The marketing was always louder than the product was good. That's the gap.
What we believe
Transparency over theater. Every dose printed. Every form named. No "blend" hiding numbers. If a brand won't tell you the dose, the dose is the problem.
Synergy over crowding. Three products at clinical doses do more than fifteen ingredients at symbolic ones. We engineer stacks where ingredients work together, not against each other.
Education before sale. The buyer who understands why magnesium glycinate beats magnesium oxide is the buyer who stays for 18 months. Every product page teaches the mechanism first.
Restraint over hype. No "unleash your potential." No "10x your wellness." No fake countdown timers. The product page reads like a spec sheet, not an infomercial.
Where we sit in the market
Brands like AG1 ($79+/mo), Blueprint by Bryan Johnson, and Modex have proven that a science-literate supplement buyer exists. They charge a celebrity tax for it. VAEL is the same evidence-backed standard at a tier below — affordable premium, not luxury. Real doses, real forms, $26.90–$69.
Plus the structural play: pre-engineered stacks instead of single SKUs or all-in-one mash-ups. Three products designed to work together. The customer doesn't have to research and assemble.
The long arc
Phase 1 (now): launch with three products from a premium dropship supplier. Every one passes the standard. Catalog stays small until we find more that do.
Phase 2: add more single-ingredient supplements that pass the filter. Creatine, probiotics, NAD+ support, lion's mane.
Phase 3: manufacture our own proprietary blends. Categorised stacks — green stacks, nootropic stacks, daily vitamin stacks — engineered for synergy, not crowding. The thesis: most brands mash 20+ vitamins into one capsule and expect them to absorb without competing or interfering. We formulate stacks where every ingredient has a job.
Phase 4: ready-to-drink products. Either supermarket scale or stay e-commerce with our own warehouse.
Who we built this for
People who already supplement and want to do it right. Lifters who follow Mike Israetel and Jeff Nippard. Knowledge workers who listen to Huberman on commute. Adults who read papers, cross-reference doses against research, and have been burned by underdosed products before.
The smart-lifter audience. The longevity-curious. People tired of fairy-dusted products and the marketing that sells them.
If you read the supplement facts panel before you buy, you're who we made this for.
